Ankica Kovač

Ankica Kovač is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb. Ankica holds her Ph.D. in green hydrogen production, i.e. hydrogen production via water electrolysis using solar energy. She is a Guest Editor of the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, a member of the Council of the President of the Republic of Croatia for Energy Transition and Vice President of the Croatian Hydrogen Association. She was awarded the Croatian Woman of Influence Award in the category of Leadership and Innovation.

Alexander Katriniok

Dr. Alexander Katriniok is Assistant Professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology, Control Systems Technology section, department of Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on real-time optimization-based control, learning-based control and control with rigorous safety guarantees, with application to motion planning, decision making and control of autonomous vehicles in uncertain environments. Since 2016, he is with the Ford Research and Innovation Center in Aachen, where he is involved in low speed autonomy applications.

Rodolfo Taccani

Rodolfo Taccani, PhD. is professor at the University of Trieste where he teaches the classes of Power Plants and Mechanical measurements. His current research interests comprise the analysis and optimization of energy conversion systems with particular reference to Fuel Cells and hydrogen. He has coordinated many research and industrial projects regarding the development of advanced energy conversion systems.

Marko Ševrović

Prof. Marko Ševrović, PhD. has more than 20 years of experience working on different transport planning, road infrastructure design and road safety projects. In 2010 he started a position at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences (FPZ). He was a Project Manager and principal road safety engineer on many Transport planning projects in Croatia and EuroRAP/iRAP and Road Safety related projects including performing all iRAP protocols and capacity building trainings in many countries.

Ádám Török

Dr. Ádám Török is a Full Professor at BME Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He received PhD in Transport Sciences and also Business and Management, both from BME. He is a member of  the Hungarian Logistics Association and the Transport Scientific Association. His research activity was awarded by János Bólyai Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Program for New National Excellence. He earned habilitation and a Doctor of Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He has more than 300 publications.

Mario Vašak

Mario Vašak, Ph.D. is a Full Professor Tenure with the Department of Control and Computer Engineering, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, and Head of its Laboratory for Renewable Energy Systems. He has authored more than 25 articles in international scientific journals and more than 100 internationally reviewed articles. His current research interests include the domain of dynamic systems predictive control with applications to buildings and infrastructure.

Dr. Kumares C. Sinha is Edgar B. & Hedwig M. Olson Distinguished Professor of Civil Engineering at Purdue University. He was a Visiting Prof. at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and served as a Lockheed Martin Guest Prof. of Engineering at University of Central Florida and as an Eminent Scholar in Residence at Texas A&M University. He has been active in teaching, research and practice in transportation systems planning and engineering for over five decades. He is a Member of the US National Academy of Engineering.

Tony Harper is The Challenge Director for the Faraday Battery Challenge at UKRI. In this capacity, he is responsible for the UK Government’s investment in Scientific Research, Business-led Innovation and national scale-up infrastructure for Battery Technology. He was previously Director of Engineering Research for Jaguar Land Rover. He is a Fellow of The Royal Academy of Engineering, Chartered Engineer, fellow of the IMechE.

His research has focused on the development of advanced electrode materials for energy storage applications, particularly batteries and supercapacitors, as well as the development of electrochemical methods in performance testing and predicting cycle life and SoH.

Dr. Hrvoje Pandžić is a Full Professor at University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (UNIZG-FER), the Head of the Department of Energy and Power Systems and the Head of the Demand Response Laboratory. His research interests cover integration of renewable energy sources, unit commitment models, energy markets, power system planning and analysis, and integration of electric vehicles and storage systems.

Subhasis Chaudhuri, PhD is the Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He completed his PhD from the University of California, San Diego, USA. Prof. Chaudhuri works in the area of image processing, computer vision, machine learning and computational haptics. He has been a Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc), National Academy of Sciences (NASI) and Indian National Science Academy (INSA) and a Fellow of IEEE.
