Elmar Fürst is an Associate Professor at the Institute for Transport and Logistics Management at WU Vienna, Austria. He has been involved in numerous international and national projects on sustainability in the domain of transport and particularly in accessible mobility and transport and had the lead in many of these projects. He is author of many reviewed and non-reviewed journal papers, books and other publications, speaker at conferences and reviewer in several contexts. Furthermore, he is chairman of the Hilfsgemeinschaft, the Austrian Association Supporting the Blind and Visually Impaired and chairman and member of a number of scientific and standardization committees.
